Why do ebooks have less pages than regular books?
Thanks for the Form Pdf Typer . A very relevant question for me. Paperback. Simply because I'm used to reading from a book since my childhood. No matter how comfortable an ipad or tab is, I just can't read ebooks. The ultimate joy of touching the letters printed in carbon on a page, feeling the texture of pages of a book and holding it in different styles is just priceless. I prefer paperback over hardback for a plain reason that it's lighter. You can drift off to sleep reading a paperback book easily. I don't know how it is in a kindle/tablet- I'm sure it's good too seeing its popularity. But that form of reading from an electronic gadget crumbles the happiness of the old customary forms of reading. My aversion to reading from a laptop is so high that I end up taking the print outs of pages. The mere thought of palpability of a text that I'm reading lightens me up. It's blissful. It's old. It's one of those small things in life which makes me happy. The subtle peace of joining a library for the sole causing of reading paperback books is invaluable. The best part about reading a paperback book is that it's easy to handle(atleast for me). I have small hands and I find bearing the weight of a hardback book a bit too peevish. The fact that you can change the brightness of an ebook is very contrasting to the old forms of reading. Clearly, you can't change the brightness- you will have to shift your position or take care of the lights of the room where you're reading. Ah! those little avid reader issues. T're too beautiful. I will take the help of a few images to embellish my bond with the fantasy world of books. Reading inside a silent library and getting transferred to a new world. I can put this book on my abdomen only when it's paperback(plus one for paperback.) Getting lost amidst a big bunch of books- something that an ebook can't give you. And let's drift to sleep reading a book. Hope this helped.
