Easy-to-use PDF software
Which type of organizations extract large amount of data from PDF Documents?
If the data is in PDF forms, then you can use a PDF Reader or Editor to export the fdf, xml, or xfdf. These files will contain the data in a key value pair. You can then parse the file and get what you need. If it is not in a form, you will need to find a PDF SDK to do what you need. PDF SDK will provide you access to the text data in the PDF, however, you must either know how to parse that data to get what you need or you would need to know where the location of that data on the PDF page to get it.

Type on PDF: All You Need to Know
This is a really nice trick... If you find an article of mine in a book or PDF and you do not want to purchase the text then you can extract the text from it For example, I have the complete article in this PDF. It is in Acrobat format so, with the PDF Tine I will extract the whole article text with only few pages. Here's how... 1) Open the PDF document. 2) Click on the “PDF Tine” button on the left side toolbar. 3) On “Edit... button” drop the “Format” drop down menu to “PDF” option. 4) Choose to format the PDF. I have chosen “PDF” in 'Format Options'. (It takes a couple of clicks). 5) Here, we have a dialog box to enter a password of the text we want to obtain. This password will not be seen, in case the text is not available in the PDF. I have entered a password.
