Do Word to PDF conversion Apps support only certain type fonts? Don't they support all the true type fonts?

Another way is taking a screen capture of the font and ask google image to search for it. Cheers! P.S. Another good site to find out types of fonts is Fonts for Print, Products & Screens

Type on PDF: All You Need to Know

So while Microsoft is not using this method on the current versions of Word and Excel, why are they continuing to use it on its older versions? Why not try a completely different approach? The problem is, there is something that is the obvious and perfect alternative, and it is called the PDF Viewer. When you open a PDF file in a PDF Viewer, Microsoft allows you to choose from a myriad of different preview options. Using a PDF Viewer, one can simply preview a PDF document with a set of different fonts, sizes and colors in different sizes. To be honest, PDF Viewer is an amazing tool even if you do not work with PDF files every day. It is very easy to create PDF files in MS Word and Excel, and you can easily compare different fonts and size combinations to find out which one is probably the best for your particular document..
